beware of scammers inside the resort!

I got a haircut inside the resort. The hairdresser (name: Claus) put a cream on my face without asking me. After a few minutes he told me that the cream is part of a "facial cleansing" and costs 100 EUROS extra! I told him I didn't want it and he tried to negotiate the price. I said I didn't want any of it while he kept insisting. I remove everything and try to leave, he didn't want me to pay with card. Only euros/dolars or egyptian pound with a disproportional conversion rate (1 euro to 50 EGP instead of 33EGP). I stormed out, directly to reception to complain. They were understanding and apologised, offering a discount which I declined. They send some complementary desserts to my room, which I appreciate but this experience ruined the entire stay.

Wonderful

The staff was really nice since our arrival. The receptionist Helal was very nice, helpful, amazing, and co-operative. The room service team was really amazing trying to make us comfortable, especially Hamdon. The entairtament team was very active trying to fill the day with nice activity.

Overall our stay was well appreciated.

The breakfast was ok good variety. The buffet dinner was adequate. The dishes were tasty. We had a family room which was ok for the four of us.

The bathroom should be renovated.

The beautiful Red Sea and scuba diving center right on site outweigh all the disadvantages

Beautiful sea, diving center right on site, (mostly) very friendly personal, properly designed hotel building (room's windows are almost all the day in shadow, I never switched on the air conditioner).

The quality of alcoholic drinks is not very high, softly speaking; most, if not all soft drinks are made from powdered concentrate. There are no soups for breakfast.

For my August stay, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend this hotel for those who wanna visit Hurghada.

I'd like to thank Ms. Dina, and Mr. Dahy for their cooperation and support during our stay, they have upgraded my room, and made me choose the room to relocate in by offering two other rooms in two different buildings. The hotel group contains three buildings ( 2 buildings for Sphinx Aqua Park ) and ( 1 building for King Tut Aqua Park) the group is wide, with wide and long passages between buildings for walking, there're flowers, and plants wherever you go. The beach is clean, but not very wide, and it has a wood roof above the beach bar, where you can enjoy the sunset and sunrise. It also has a hammock to lie in and enjoy the sun. The room in the Main building had a W O N D E R F U L sea view. There're three restaurants, the main restaurant in King Tut building, and it has varities of food, mostly matching the different diet styles. The hotel management had generously invited us to a special dinner in one of the three Restaurants ( ISIS Restaurant) where we had a very nice dinner as we've enjoyed our delicious Shrimp rolls appetizer, a sweet/sour chicken plate, and a grilled beef plate. Soups, sausages, and duck meat, were G R E A T !! The food quality is acceptable, and it's OK for a "4" star hotel. The hotel's pool was big, clean, with cool activities, and a pool bar. The hotel's entertainment team and most of the staff are mainly focusing on the Russian language, not the English, and I understand that as most of the residents are Russians.

Some food types weren't refilled when finished, Fruit was limited to 2 or 3 kinds. The Aqua Park is good, but small. The restaurant cups were plastic, and needed to be washed very well The room's shower needed slight fixes ( like fixing the water shower holder) The door of the room's balcony couldn't be locked ( given that our child stayed in the room ) Room's lighting was not so bright, it was indirect Every time I tried to use the phone service, the line was busy. The LCD TV in the room needed to be wider. Finally, I enjoyed my stay and I recommend this hotel for visitors who wanna visit Hurghada.

Poor residency !!!

-The way how they treat the Egyptian guest !! Even I admit that the Egyptian guests are annoying and unbearable, but the stuff don't have the ability to handle it and treat in a good way !! -They make their own rate for dollar exchange, so the prices in the Egyptian pound you pay will be a little bit different than it was in the booking receipt you received from booking.com - you will not get a room with a good view unless you were rude with the reception guys !! But if you were kind and tried to be gentle as i was , then it will end up with you in a street view room !! - food was very modest !! There wasn't a good variety in it !! - finally they put a restriction on drinking as i was an Egyptian and even I booked " all inclusive package "

Disco wasn't bad Rooms cleanliness was good also

Receptionist refused to check in one minute before 2 pm although Booking.com gives us the advantage of early check in Also, most of the staff are rude and unprofessional as they didn't respond to our requests like fixing the fridge or the safe in the room Food was horrible, they use the lowest quality in everything Rooms view wa on the street ( trash cans literally!) not the sea or pool as requested

I will recommend it for my ennemis. This place is a desaster.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Air conditioner works fine.

What aqua park? 3 sliders in bad shape in a very small pool is not an aqua park. Kinds have to wait 10 min for each turn. Opens from 10 to 12 and from 14 to 17 total 5 hours a day. Food is a desaster. No variety, fish smelled and tasted as if It was not cooked. But what was really unsupportable was drinks. This was the real desaster. This hotel had not enough glasses for his guests... can you imagine.., even plastic glasses. Pool bar was never open. Beach bar opens at 10 and closes at 17:00 And they call it all inclusive. Beer was served hot and flat. I tasted for the first time in my life a flat Coca Cola, flat sprite, flat Fanta ... all soft drinks were water with sugar. Animation was not found. Nothing for kids, a morning program with aqua gym and a stupid oriental danse every day. To resume... it was a bad experience

It's a very bad experience with King TUT hotel.. my advice to everybody, don't go there..

There was nothing to like....

I was very disappointed when I entered the hotel with my family... we immediately felt a bad smell , the bell boy was sleeping and didn't care to bring our languages inside, receptions staff profiles and uniforms reflected the level of their professionally which is zero , when I got into our rooms with my family we been very surprised again, the furniture's are very old, bed sheets are dirty , broken bed's legs although the housekeeping tried to apology, then we went to the beach .. again surprised, the beach is full of rocks, my wife and my son got a serious feet injury, my other children tried to use the swimming pools, very bad chemical smell in the water of the swimming pools, the aqua which is mentioned in the hotel photos in the booking website are old and not safe to use it, don't dream to get drinks or snakes around the swimming pools and beach as mentioned in booking website!!! forget it, only colored powder juice with dirty glasses and the staff used to add water to Coca cola to increase the level in the machine...... The the lunch is another big drama!! , we found a big miss there, the food quality is very bad, staff screaming on the guests faces because of the big miss and food quantity and quality. Coming to the night, the animation team and facilities are very poor, nothing to do in the nights, the Egyptian staff boys are hanging with the Russian street girls, big shame... It was really very bad experience with such hotel, I used to spend my vacation in Hurghada since more than 12 years, this was the worst experience with King TUT hotel. Please never deal with them anymore, it is a big shame really.
